The Parks Division routinely performs preprogrammed maintenance of all of the City's park facilities including mowing, turf care, planting, irrigation, trimming of trees and shrubs, collecting debris and garbage, restroom cleanup, pool maintenance and repair of all park and playground structures.  In conjunction with the Engineering Division and the Parks and Recreations Department, we review plans and assist in preparation for use by the public for the City's park facilities.  Approximately 73 acres of developed parks are maintained by the Division. 

The Park Division performs preprogrammed maintenance of all the City's athletic fields including mowing, turf care, field striping, collecting debris and garbage, field leveling, painting, repair and installation of field apparatus and restroom cleanup.  In conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department, they prepare fields for the various sports groups that use the City's facilities.  The Division continues the existing program of rehabilitation of the City's athletic facilities and repair facilities damaged by vandalism.

The division also provides roadside weed mowing services, cuts firebreaks in City open space to protect adjoining property owners from fire.  They install landscapes and make facility repairs as directed. The Park Division maintains a plant nursery at Hoog Park.

The Parks Division routinely performs preprogrammed maintenance of all of the Hamilton Recreation area facilities including mowing, turf care, planting, irrigation, trimming of trees and shrubs, collecting debris and garbage, restroom cleanup, pool maintenance and repair of all park and playground structures.  They also repair park facilities damaged by vandalism.
