Welcome to the Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance Divisions

These Divisions are responsible for the maintenance of 149 vehicles and large pieces of equipment and 150 pieces of small gasoline driven equipment used by the City. We maintain the emergency generator systems for the Police Department, Maintenance Division and emergency radio power. We are also manage the fueling system owned and operated by the City, and respond to City emergencies such as flooding  and spills.

We perform scheduled maintenance on all patrol vehicles, K-9 vehicles, and unmarked police vehicles, other fleet vehicles, and a Federal Safety Inspection on all large trucks every 90 days (BIT).

The Equipment Maintenance Division performs scheduled maintenance on construction and special equipment and also services and maintains emergency generators.
