Description
Proposal is for the construction of 50 new residential units, and a new events/kitchen building. The project involves the construction of three (3) new buildings. Two (2) of the buildings, both two-stories, will contain the residential units; one containing 26-single bedroom affordable workforce apartment units, and one containing 24-single bedroom affordable apartments for homeless veterans.
The third building is single story and will incorporate commercial kitchen facilities for food industry job training and food production for enterprise sales. It will also include a "flex space" which can be used for various events and also as a dining area for up to 200 people.

On August 23, 2022, the Novato City Council approved a precise development plan and design review application for Homeward Bound of Marin’s Workforce & Veteran Housing project.
On September 21, 2022, the Novato Design Review Commission approved the final exterior architectural details (colors, window/door types, wall relief, roofing material and lighting), and tree/plant species and locations for Homeward Bound of Marin’s Workforce & Veteran Housing project.
