Novato Streetscape Committee volunteers are partnering with Marin County Parks to team up to clean up on Coastal Clean Up Day, Saturday, September 17, 2022
Volunteers will be picking up trash in the Rush Creek Preserve to prevent litter from entering our waterways and flowing to the ocean. Buckets, bags, litter grabbers, and disposable gloves will be available, but feel free to bring your own supplies as well. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but anyone 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
Meet at 9:00am the Pinheiro Fire Road gate on Binford Rd in Novato. From Atherton Ave east., turn left onto Binford Rd. (gate is on the right).
Registration is required. For more information, contact Marin County Parks Ranger Lisa Wilson at LiWilson@marincounty.org
