Twenty years ago, the City of Novato was well into the renovation of a former hardware store, and transformation into the Novato Gymnastics Center. Since then, there have been thousands of participants, from toddlers to teens, who have enjoyed and been involved with movement education, preschool and recreational gymnastics classes, and the Novato Gymnastics Team. Many of these youngsters have learned the joy of movement and a variety of skills, and undoubtedly taken their experiences to new heights. Today, the Novato Gymnastics Center continues to offer these opportunities and remain a vibrant part of the community. On Saturday, October 19, the City of Novato will host a celebration in honor of the opening of the Gymnastics Center.
