The Bay Area is no stranger to hazards like earthquakes, flooding, and landslides. Additionally, the fires in Napa and Sonoma Counties as well as in Southern California have made it all the more important to regularly address – and better prepare for – these public safety risks.
On Tuesday, May 7th, there will be a simple and free two-hour emergency preparedness program offered to all households in the county through the Get Ready Emergency Disaster Preparedness Program. This program is a collaborative effort between Marin County communities and jurisdictions with a goal to prepare households with the skills and information to survive and cope with a disaster for five to seven days.
Location: All Saints Lutheran Church, 2 San Marin Drive, Novato
Time: 7pm - 9pm
