Please join us for a community discussion regarding possibilities for redeveloping and revitalizing the City-owned “Lands-to-Parks” properties in Hamilton, including:

• Bachelor’s Officers Quarters (BOQ) Site  (APN 157-690-53)

• Commissary Site (APN 157-970-03)

WHERE: Hamilton Community Center, 503 S Palm Drive, Novato

Director of Hamilton Base Reuse Scott Ward and City Manager Regan Candelario will discuss the opportunities and challenges for each site, answer questions, and get feedback on next steps.

Late last year, the City negotiated with the National Parks System, that lifted deed restrictions from these properties in exchange for 93 acres of open space. By lifting those restrictions, these properties can now be improved. Note that the City Council will also discuss this topic at their regularly-scheduled meeting on March 28.
