In May 2015 the City held two public workshops to gather community input and design ideas in order to create a new and improved Hill Recreation Area that would best serve Novato’s youth and adults. Since then the City, working with a consultant, has incorporated community feedback and created a preliminary site plan. To make this collective vision a reality, the City has been seeking different funding opportunities. We welcome your final feedback on the proposed design plans, and we invite all Novato residents and community members to attend and be a part of this exciting project!

Final design plans for the Hill Recreation Area improvements will be presented to the Recreation, Cultural and Community Services Commission and Novato City Council for consideration and possible approval, at regularly scheduled meetings. Residents and community members are encouraged to attend this meeting to share feedback and/or to support this project. City Council meeting information will be posted on the Hill Master Plan webpage (www.novato.org/hillmasterplan), and also announced on the NovatoFun Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NovatoFun).
