NEW! Novato's Planning Academy is a fun and educational introduction to community planning and development in Novato. This interactive series of seven classes is designed to educate and engage residents, businesses and community leaders in the City's planning process and demonstrate how planning shapes our community. The course objective is to assist participants in becoming more effective and informed advocates in future City of Novato planning efforts, and to encourage positive engagement in the planning process.
Sessions are designed to include discussion, presentations, Q&A, and interactive group exercises. Presenters/speakers include City staff, local architects, planning professionals, sustainability experts, and Planning Commissioners.
Classes will take place on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Novato City Hall, 901 Sherman Avenue.
