New Start Time for Novato City Council Meetings

Post Date:03/29/2017 11:28 AM

Beginning on April 4, 2017, Novato City Council meetings will have a new regular start time of 6pm. This time change will allow for an earlier start time for public proclamations and recognition of local community members, groups, and businesses for their achievements and accomplishments. This would also bring the more substantive items in General Business to an earlier time to accommodate those who wish to attend and speak during public comment. An additional agenda change includes moving Councilmember and City Manager reports, typically after General Business at the end of a meeting, to the beginning.

The Novato City Council approved this change at their February 7, 2017 meeting.
